How long does the repair take?We specialize in repairing only telephones and we do it fast! Our work load changes constantly but on average a regular repair order of a few phones will be shipped back to you within 5-12 business days after we receive the phones. Of course there is shipping time which can take anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks (round trip) depending on your location and the shipping service used. If we run into any questions or problems while repairing your phones, an email will be sent out to ask how you would like us proceed. A quick reply from you will help ensure the speediest repair time. You should add us to your address book or "white list" to make sure our emails are not sent to your spam folder. Back to TopWhere can I find your phone number?We repair phones... but we do not have one ourselves! Of course, this is not completely true, but the reason we can keep our low prices is by keeping our overhead costs down. We are just too busy processing and repairing your phones to be talking on one all day. Our budget repair includes contact by email only . Email gives us the chance to answer many questions at once and to maximize productivity. The good news is, we answer email often, and quickly. Many email questions can be answered within 30 to 60 minutes during normal business hours. Some questions may take longer, and please be aware that we may not be in the same time zone. So... if we receive an email at 10pm on Friday, then we probably won't be able to reply to that one quite as quickly as one received Wednesday at 9am. If you absolutely need our phone number it is located at the bottom of our About Us page. Back to TopWhat if I do not want to use a credit card? At P1 Budget Phone Repair, we keep our prices low by limiting the variables and processing all orders over the internet. At this time we have no other way of processing a repair order without using the on-line store and a credit card or Paypal. We do not have any plans to set up any bill-to accounts or accepting checks for payment as this would increase operating costs and raise the repair fee for everyone. Using your credit card at our web site is much safer than a local restaurant! Please be assured that your credit card is never charged until your phones are repaired and ready to send back to you! Unless you choose Paypal. Paypal is a payment service and they will charge your card imediately. How much does this cost?We repair phones at a flat rate. If you send us one phone or 100 phones a year, everyone pays the same price. (If you want to send us truck loads of phones, please contact us) Pay for what you want... nothing more! Some repair shops offer more, but charge a lot more as well. When you place a repair order with us, all additional services and parts are optional. All repairs get a new handset cord! Used cords cause problems. Designation papers and missing clear plastics are not replaced unless you request them when placing the repair order. Defective handsets are repaired if possible or we will email you to find out if you want to purchase a replacement. Missing handsets are only replaced if you request one during the order setup. Back to TopWhat do I have to do to send phones in for repair?The only way to send us phones for repair is to use our on-line store with a credit card or Paypal. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover. At this time we have no other way to accept your repair order. We have an on-line store that is very much like any other internet store out there except here you are 'buying' a repair order. You can pick your phones out just as if you are buying them and choose optional services or parts. When you complete your order you print it and use that for your packing slip. Then you need to ship or mail us your defective telephones within 30 days. Please be assured that your credit card is never charged until your phones are repaired and ready to send back to you! (unless you use Paypal) The on-line store will give you a total price, however that price may change if you have unrepairable phones or need extra parts. Price changes are rare and we will always email you if any increase over 10% is required and wait for your reply before continuing. Back to TopWhat does the warranty cover?Our 90 day warranty (with optional 1 year upgrade) covers any* malfunction in your phone regardless of the problem it was sent in for. The warranty start the day we ship the phone back to you. *Our warranty does not cover liquid spills, shipping damage, improper use, abuse or lightning. Parts not covered under the standard repair fee (like expensive LCD displays) are not covered. If your phone is lost or damaged in shipping then you must contact us right away! Keep the original box and packing material. In some cases we may have to process a damage claim through the shipping service provider. Under no circumstances do we offer advanced replacements or pay for shipping defective phones back to us for warranty repair. Back to TopWhat is the difference in light and complete cleaning?All phones are lightly cleaned. A light cleaning removes minor dirt, fingerprints and dust but leaves paint, stickers and heavy ink behind. If you need your phone back looking like it just came off the factory line, then you will not be happy with a light cleaning. If your phone is very dirty or covered in tape or stickers, you may want to request a complete cleaning for $5 more when placing the order. Complete cleaning can not take the yellowing out of discolored plastics, or remove deep scratches but we do have quite a few tricks up our sleeves to make your phone look it's best. All non-original stickers and tape will be removed. Ink and paint splatter are cleaned up whenever possible. Back to Top
